It was built in 1952 by the shipyard of Enzo Canaletti in La Spezia.At the beginning its name was “ParadisoII”. ParadisoII was built by very apreciated woods : mahogany for the planking,teak for the deck. “ParadisoII” was used to transport pilots and provisions on the ships that waited to get in harbor. In 1980 it was brought to Olbia by the ship “Canguro Grigio”. In 2000 it was restored and its name became “Rio Grande”. In 2005 Giacomo and Daniela purchased the “Rio grande”. Its name became “ The new lion of Caprera”,in honor of the hero Giuseppe Garibaldi.

Giacomo restored it by his hands and he brought it to the old shine. “The new lion of Caprera” is endowed with ample sunsits,its indoors are elegant and accurate. There is a kichen,two bathroom with shower, tender for the excursions in the islands of the archipelago. Our cruise is learning-travel to unique destinatins.
